Dear tour diary,
touched by the first sunbeams the travel party “sunshine” meets at the new rehearsal room. Considering the current time everyone’s in a good mood, maybe because the final rehearsal yesterday was quite good.
Our tour bus is black (hehe) and 14 m long with 12 beds. But somehow we can’t fit all the equipment into the loading area so we have to rent an additional trailer. Right in time we leave Berlin.
But stop, where is Gunnar? Dear diary, you will certainly ask yourself “But stop, WHO is Gunnar?” before. Gunnar comes from Hamburg and he is well versed with all qustions and aspects of the visible spectrum. Tom is still missing as well… he’s well versed with everything about the audible spectrum. We’ll meet them both in Dresden. Also on board there are Stiller (master of the stage), Manu (mistress of the shirts), Gondor (master of the bus) and Kathrin (the big boss).
Weather in Dresden is really nice and sunny. We’re quite excited and we hope everything will work fine. It won’t, of course… Marcellus just has time to say goodbye to one of his cymbal stands before it falls down the drum raiser. Neck-break is the human
equivalent. No chance to save it… Michael is overdoing the bass volume a little. His very sensitive amplifier doesn’t really like this and answers with a constantly loud humming. Human equvalent: palpitation. Reanimation succeeded. Our guest singer Juliane,
always tells us how excited and nervous she is, but she sings billant… right after the microphone cable was plugged in correctly 😉 Human equivalent: loss of an arm… successfully attached back to the body.
Stiller likes the Venue “Strasse E”. We all agree. People are dancing until we have to leave.
The first night in our new sitting room / bedroom / bathroom is great!
